Bird Flower Fish | Australian  King Parrot | Australian King Parrot (shoulder Alisterus) is endemic in eastern Australia. It is found in upland wetlands and thick forests of the eastern part of the continent, including eucalyptus wooded areas in and adjacent areas directly to the sub-tropical rainforests and temperate. Feed on fruits, seeds or small insects.Adults of both sexes about 43 cm (17 inches) in length, including the long tail wide. Adult male with the head red, and breast cancer, low bottom, with the band Blue in the back of the neck between red and green above on his back, and wings are green, each with a pale shoulder band green, and the tail green, the rump is blue. Man has a reddish-orange upper jaw with the tip black, the lower jaw with a black basecolor orange, and yellow irises.

Female plumage is very different for a male and a green head and breast cancer, and gray beak, the band shoulder pale small or absent. Juveniles of both sexes and brown irises and yellow beak, and the only female-like.There are two types of strain; thousand seconds. Found a minor when the northern limit of the species range and is similar in appearance to the nominate race, but smaller,is usually about 5 cm (2 inches) smaller in length.On those rare individuals that have areas without melanin, feathers orange to yellow. These birds can look different startingly to the diversity of the more common purple, green (see, for example in the gallery below).

A group of Australian king parrots northern and central Queensland to southern Victoria. Seen often in small groups, they were with different types of Rosella. More of their normal habitat in the Eastern Highlands, they are also found in Canberra during the winter, and the outer western suburbs and the north shore of Sydney, the Valley of Carnarvon in central Queensland.
